President

Marc Knezevic-Maragh, MS-II

My name is Marc and I am from Miami, Florida. I am a father of two children to whom I dedicate my life. They are one of my main motivators for entering the field of medicine.

I developed a liking for radiology when I began my medical journey at AUA and want to be able to utilize the resources provided to learn more about the many avenues and opportunities available in the Radiology specialty.

I hope to see many of you join us this semester as we embark on learning more about Radiology

Favorite TV series: Chicago Med or Quantico as well as Tyler Perry dramas like The Oval and the Haves and the Have Nots

Sr.Vice President

Aastha Jain, MS-II

Hello! My name is Aastha Jain, and I am the Sr. Vice President of the Radiology Interest Group this semester.

A little about me: I am an animal lover and an avid reader. A book that has stayed with me is called 'On Earth, We're Briefly Gorgeous' by Ocean Vuong. It is a luminous memoir about war, immigration, and family. One of my favorite quotes from the book is: "Too much joy, I swear, is lost in our desperation to keep it". Besides reading, I also love to travel and learn more about different cultures.

I find it fascinating that we can look inside and visualize the living human body. That, when combined with my love for problem-solving, draws me towards the bewitching field of Radiology.

Sr. Secretary

Akriti Gujral, MS-II

Hey everyone! I'm Akriti and I am a fourth semester student. I am thrilled to be a part of this wonderful team. I am really glad that we get the privilege to be on campus this semester, and I can't wait to meet everyone.

What excites me most about radiology is the detective work it involves. I enjoy looking for elusive details and hidden clues to figure out cases to challenge myself. We have a lot of fun events planned for the upcoming months.

I am excited about the semester and all that we have in store!

Sr. Communications Director

Bobbi Lambert, MS-II

Hi, my name is Bobbi Lambert and I am the Senior Communications Director/ Social Media Manager for the Spring 2023 semester.

A few interesting things about me: Some of my favorite things include puzzles, puppies, and pizza! While I currently hail from the gulf coast of Mississippi, I grew up in a military family moving from state to state all over the US. I loved the opportunity to get to know new people and the unique challenges moving around frequently presented.

I am interested in radiology for a multitude of reasons: diverse patient population, diagnostic aspect, and the constantly developing technology associated with the field.

Please join us in our upcoming events and learn more about Radiology!

Jr. Vice President

Damian McClain, MS-II

Hi there! My name is Damian and I am from Houston, Texas. I have wanted to pursue Radiology since I was a freshman in high school, although I've had quite a few interesting careers along the way.

Now that I'm here studying on the island, my interest is affirmed every time we have a lecture on radiology that integrates anatomy with clinical applications. I am an extremely family-oriented person and I view anyone here as family - I want to see all of us win!

Favorite Quote: "Don't live down to expectations. Go out there and do something remarkable."

My name is Ashley Ehlers and I am from Sarasota, Florida. I attended Florida State University, studying Biology, with the intent of pursuing medical school.

Something about me is that I am very creative, and I enjoy writing. Radiology is of great interest to me because I love how much information can be learned about one’s health from various imaging.

Radiology is an exciting and advancing field, and I am thrilled to be a part of this group of students who are also interested in exploring Radiology.

I'm looking forward to working more closely with the Radiology Interest Group, which is a fantastic group of students, in my new role as treasurer.

Clinical Sciences Advisor

Crystal Goodall, MS-III

Hi everyone! My name is Crystal and I am currently in my third year of medical school, clinical sciences, at Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine! My passion for medicine began at a young age as I grew up with a sibling who was often in and out of the hospital.

I am attracted to Radiology, specifically, Interventional Radiology, because of the unique opportunity to perform precise, minimally invasive techniques while minimizing risk to the patient and most importantly improving health outcomes.

I'm excited to be a part of this amazing team this semester and I look forward to helping to plan fun, innovative, and exciting, educational events for our members.
